Looking for the perfect finishing touch for your next gift? Bottle tags with cards are not only trendy but also a thoughtful way to add a personal touch. Whether you’re gifting wine, sparkling cider, or homemade kombucha, these tags are the cherry on top. In this post, we’ll walk you through a simple and fun DIY project that’s sure to wow your recipients.
For this project, I used the new Happy Hibiscus stamp, die, and embossing folder set for a bright, tropical effect. I’m looking at a hibiscus right now outside my window, and it makes me so happy!
Bottle tags are versatile, chic, and functional. They:
- Add a personalized element to your gifts.
- Double as mini greeting cards for your heartfelt messages (my version has a small card included – see video below)
- Are perfect for any occasion—birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, or just because!
I also tried this particular style on different colors. The black gives it a more sophisticated effect, and the Crumb Cake above feels a little more organic.
Use a 2″ and a 2 3/8″ Circle Punches to create the opening for the bottle. Easy! Slip the finished tag over your bottle’s neck. Voilà! Your gift is now Instagram-worthy!
I use a Sponge Dauber to add a few colors onto the Happy Hibiscus images for a little more interest. Every time I do this, each flower comes out unique!
Pre-cut multiple tags and cards for batching, especially during busy holiday seasons. Adding a personalized, hand made tag adds that special touch to a gift. Plus, it’s a sustainable way to use crafting materials because the tag can be re-used.
