Today’s card is a really fun variation of the Slide & Lock card I shared HERE and HERE. This one took me a while to work out, but after a bit of trial and error, I love how this fun diagonal slide turned out with the airplane from Adventurous Sky:
For one thing, make sure the sliding part is going up, not down. I guess it could be coming in for a landing, but thought it was just better going up into the clouds.
Since the background is just blue and white clouds from the Take to the Sky papers, the plane can be any color you like! I chose vibrant Real Red for this one with Silver Foil details.
The airplane slides right off the card, allowing the card to be opened. And it keeps the card closed while it’s on the front.
I do have the plane sitting on a cloud die, which got a little lost. If I were to make this card again (which I am 13 July at the Tauranga Extravaganza event), I’d use either a bigger cloud or use 2 or 3 of the cloud die that’s in the Adventurous Sky die set to make it more visible.
