It’s the very last day of SaleABration already, and here’s my last project to share with the Detailed Dogwood stamp set. For this one, I created a sort of spotlight technique:
Basically, I stamped, torn, and then colored! When I reassembled the torn piece, there is somewhat of a continuous picture, but only partially colored.
It’s a nice way to add interest and color when you possibly don’t want to color in the entire thing (or just for a fun effect).
I stamped the Detailed Dogwood images in Pebbled Path, and then colored with the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. This is one card idea that is quite simple, but would look fantastic in different color ways and then packaged up as a gift set.
Please enjoy both this short reel with a quick tutorial on this particular card, and then also a relatively short YouTube video showcasing the Detailed Dogwood more thoroughly.
