It’s time to share a Stampin’ Up! Scrapbooking layout! I try to do one at least once a month, and this month’s layout is inspired by the talented Edel Pappe. She did something along these lines in an A4 size, so I have modified to a 12×12 plus added my own ideas to it:
It’s really fun to create a layout with the child/person involved sitting right there critiquing – NOT! LOL But in the end, she was so pleased to have a fresh layout of a very recent special time with a good friend.
The Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut paper pack comes with four of these stunning “lace” 12×12 sheets, which I’ve cut to create a sweet border on this page. I also sponged a bit of Smokey Slate ink under the lace to help it pop a bit more. I wouldn’t have thought to combine Smokey Slate with the browns in these wood papers, but I do like it very much!
These little butterflies were from the SaleABration Butterfly Elements gift, so they are sadly no longer available. However, we do have other wood elements in other botanical sort of shapes one could easily substitute in. I will list them below in the supply list.
The Laser Cut papers and the Wood Textures papers are all on the discontinuing list, so please place your order by clicking on the supplies below before they sell out!
