Happy Tuesday! I think I was woken no fewer than five times last night by blowing noses and coughs – house full of sick people right now! I'm feeling surprisingly energetic, though, as I pack to go teach a day scrapbooking class in Howick today.
We aren't doing the layout below, but I wanted to share this with you this morning. I designed this last October after seeing a white and blue one that I adored at our Stampin' Up! Regional Training. To be honest, this is nothing like the original other than the placement of the photos . . . fabulous how "inspiration" can serve to be just that and you end up with something uniquely your own.
The boys, of course, are my loving husband and lovely step-son, also the culprits of my interrupted sleep.
The footprints were fun to do, albeit slightly tricky. I bought that stamp set exactly to make a layout like this with them, but I didnt' want it to look like bunny hops. So with a little masking, I was able to create footsteps. I didn't re-ink, either, so they gradually get lighter, which is symbolic with the journaling content. Deep.
The journaling is a text Rob sent me some time ago, and I've saved it for a page. the photos are from the day we had a photo shoot for our wedding annoucement last September.
Love the clock detail – that Clockwords set is a MUST for scrapbookers or those who need masculine projects!
Have a lovely day today! Enjoy the sunshine while we still have it!

I always like seeing your male layouts 🙂 I have all boys, so it’s fun to see some less-than-frilly scrapbook pages once in a while!!
