Today’s share is a fun pop up card, inspired by a birthday card I received from Sally Williams. I enjoyed the unique look so much that I recreated the concept with the new Dainty Delight bundle:
To being, I started with a basic gate fold card (where the card front opens in the middle with two flaps on each side). On the front of the card, I created three panels, each adhered on alternating sides of the card.
Next I added these gorgeous vines and daisies to the card front. I love daisies, so couldn’t go past those! I cut those with So Saffron cardstock, and then inked the edged with Calypso Coral.
I don’t often think to ink one color onto another color of cardstock, but it’s quite effective.
The vines have been split so the card opens withe three sections on the front. This is quite fun, and a concept I’ve recreated in a few more projects I’ll share soon.
The inside features a couple of little pop ups, which can pop up words or images, as suits you. It would even be fun to have several pop ups just on the one side, too. I’ve used the Stylish Shapes dies for the labels here.
I love the little half daisy die included in this set.
