Today’s share is my favorite of the Criss Cross cards I made, this time using the Beautiful Gallery papers. I just can’t express how much I love love love these papers! They have a Basic Gray sort of feel, a brand style that I’ve always adored.

I just love this particular print; I’d totally wear this in a shirt with jeans! I paired this Beautiful Gallery paper with the new (coming 6 May) Secret Sea. I can tell I’ll be using this color quite a bit. It’s nearly black, but with a strong blue tone.
Like a good pair of jeans, I think this color will go with just about anything.

The little insert pulls out. Traditionally, a criss cross card has a tag (or tags) in it, but I thought I’d step it up and make it a full card. This also gives a more practical space to write.
The front is accented with those gorgeous, delicate flowers from the coordinating Beautiful Motifs die set. I’ve cut those out of Secret Seat for a silhouette effect.

The Criss Cross card has these great diagonal lines, but it does leave a few strips of the Beautiful Gallery paper left over. I used them on the outside and inside of the card – may as well tie it all in together!
