The background papers are those absolutely gorgeous New Horizons Designer Series Paper. I’ve decided these papers lend themselves to more simple designs. Too much cutting down or fussiness on the project detracts from the beautiful watercolor scenes.
A simple black die cut over the top is quite effective on the bright background. This particular print has a tropical feel, so I’ve used the big tree from the Paradise Palms bundle.
The Matte Black dots add some “coconuts” and a bit more 3D texture without detracting.
