I had so much fun the last few days playing with the Textures and Frames stamp set! Admittedly, it’s not one that jumps out as “fun”, but let me show you over the next few days just a few of the great ideas with this one.
Because this stamp set has no picture sort of image nor any words, it’s one that works well to pair with another stamp or die set. For today’s share, I’m pairing it with the Joyful Life set and that adorable pig image:
It took a bit of a leap of faith to color in the pig like that, meaning coloring him in without following any lines! Diana Gibbs created quite a range of fun pigs like this, and I loved her work. I’m quite pleased with how my guy turned out, too.
Simply choose your colors and go for it. Color him in your base color, then add some darker areas and some mud spots. It’s really not any more complicated than that (phew).
I added the Shimmery Crystal Effects to his glasses, just for a bit of texture and shine.
Speaking of texture, I’ve used that very versatile Textures and Frames stamp set behind the pig to create some fun mud splatters! This compliments the mud on the pig in quite a fun way.
