Happy King’s Birthday weekend! Today I want to share with you a fan favorite card from my Facebook Live last week: the Coneflower Celebrations Overlapping Panel fun fold card! I shared the template on how to make the Overlapping Panel card, and today’s share was one of the finished samples:

I possibly should have blogged the basic version first, but I will share that one tomorrow. For this version of the Overlapping Panel card, I turned the card 90 degrees, and also added a torn edge to each of the panels.
And instead of making a belly band to hold the card closed, I have the flap just tucked under the coneflower. This sample was by far the favorite of the samples I made, and I do like it, too. The colors are vibrant and striking.

The flower itself is cut out of Flirty Flamingo – not a color I use very often. But it was just right against this Pool Party wood background from the Country Woods paper pack.
A little bit of lacy pretty is also nice against the wood with the Eyelet Embossing Folder on clean white.
