Colour Inkspiration #81 – with Forever Fern and a Custom Envelope!

Another colour challenge kicks off tonight at the Colour Inkspiration Challenge Group! Please join in and let our crew projects inspire you! This next two weeks, the colour challenge is Real Red, Cinnamon Cider, and Crumb Cake (or use similar colours).

Having personally been raised in North America, but now living in the South Pacific, this photo REALLY inspired me! It’s freezing cold here right now; today we even had hail. And this photo is very much a North American warm, comforting cider drink for these very cold nights.

I went with the favorite Forever Fern for these beautiful images. Someone said that these images look great in any color combination, and she may well be right! (This stamp set also comes with optional dies)
The words are from the Best Year stamp set, one I loved with the variety of occasions, fonts, and sentiment sizes for versatility.

Real Red is one of those truly core colors that looks stunning for holidays, masculine projects, kid’s cards, and so on. Just one that needs to be in the stash. I do suggest you have the Real Red ribbon and the Real Red Rhinestones on hand, as neither of these can easily be re-created to such color intensity.

With such gorgeous images from the Forever Fern stamp set plus some great colors, just a little ribbon and a few sparkles is all that is needed to finish it off.
Plus – I’ll show you one way to make a custom envelope to fit your cards! Either cards of unusual sizes (that was a Princess Bride joke) or make an envelope that’s just special to match your project. Full video below:
