Hi friends! Join us for another color challenge at the Colour Inspiration Challenge Facebook page! You’re now in New Zealand with Jacque Williams.
This fortnight, our colours are beach inspired with Tranquil Tide, Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Blushing Bride:
I’ve been playing around with the Healing Hugs stamp set, and noticed there weren’t a lot (any!) samples around using the smaller flowers in the set, so I wanted to give that a try. I also wanted to try out the Envelope Pocket card that I’ve seen around quite a bit:
The idea behind this card is to create an envelope, and then simply trim off one of the four flaps to create a cute little pocket.
Then you can create either a flap card to go inside, or put a folding card inside your pocket. Here, I’ve done a postcard style card with just a bit more stamping and a little embellishment on the top for the pull tab.
For the main focal point, I stamped the flower in Tranquil Tide first and then embossed in white over the top. So easy! And these resin blossoms just added the right accent for this fun project.
I hope you give this colour combination a try and post on our Facebook group! In the meantime, enjoy the rest of the hop. Next stop:Denita Wright-Smee!
