Christmas Pocket Card with Floral Phrases
Christmas isn’t too far away, and I know many people are now starting to think about Christmas cards, tags, and gifts. You will probably never see a green and red Christmas card here on this blog (it’s not that I don’t like it, I just think why choose predictable), and today’s share caters for those particularly in the South Pacific area who enjoy a warm Christmas holiday.
You may recognize this is another colour version of the project I posted a few days ago. Both samples use the Floral Phrases bundle, a great set of stamps and dies for general crafting.
This project features a gorgeous pocket, perfect for wedding invitations, gift vouchers, photos, and small gifts. Make this pocket in no time using the Florals Thinlits.
I’ve used the Christmas Pines stamp set here for the words and the This Christmas Paper for the background.
I also made a Cherry Cobbler Version for those wanting a bit more traditional colours.

Your cards are lovely, and I love the colours. Im not a red and green Christmas person either so this was my cup of tea.
I’ve seen several of these, but no one lists dimensions for the cuts of paper, and I’ve gone through an entire ream if paper trying to get the pocket. Any answers or help ???

Basically the base is an A5 size. The pocket is simply the size of the die (it cuts to shape) plus a few inches on either side. I believe I just used the width of an A4 card, so about 8 1/4 inches. Cut the die from the middle of say a 5 inch strip (so 5×81/4 approx) and then trim off the excess from the “tabs”. Then simply wrap around the card base. Hope that helps.
Thank you, have many attempts, each coming out a little too much this dude or that. But finally, accidentally got one to cut out from the actual card base, then couldn’t figure it out again. At least I have the one I need for the wedding card! Thank you again for your beautiful inspiration.
