It’s Friday! And today I want to share with you a version of another card I plan to use at my upcoming Christmas Card Stamp A Stack!
I love the look of the ornaments against the wood, but I just didn’t have enough of this particular wood print to make it practical for the stamp a stack (another version coming!). This card is actually a remake of something similar pictured in the Holiday Catalogue. Those catalogues are a wonderful place for inspiration!
I cut a stitched rectangle out of the middle of the wood paper (from the Pressed Petals paper pack), and then replaced it to create a somewhat subtle outline around the ornaments. Without this, or something similar, the ornaments are just “floating” and I really felt like it was missing something.
This is a way you can create weight or a frame without actually using any more supplies on your projects.
