I hope everyone had a wonderful Labour Day weekend! I had a rest from the laptop, and got to spend some good time in the craft room, designing up projects to share. Today’s project with the Wisteria Wishes stamp set is one that actually my daughter, Madeleine, designed for a team shoebox swap a few months ago:
Madeleine has used the Wisteria upside down, and turned them into trees! Such a cute idea, and a great way to get even more mileage from the gorgeous Wisteria Wishes bundle.
This project is suitable for Christmas, but not overly wintry, for those who have summer Christmas holidays. Or maybe you just prefer these colours!
Create the background by cutting a circle out of a scrap paper, then using the negative space as a simple mask. Blend through Tahitian Tide and Fresh Freesia inks (lightly) for a frosty, but fresh, effect.
