Today’s share is another example of using 6×6 papers with this fun template idea – with no waste! I shared a video a few months ago with this concept (see below), and this was one of the samples I created to showcase the idea using the Tropical Leaf bundle.

This 6×6 paper is from the Bright & Beautiful paper pack, one that is marketed as a birthday or celebration pack of papers. But not all of them are bright with party images! I quite like this one with the ombre on one side and the soft polka dots on the other.
This print could be paired with quite a few images, and I’ve chosen the Tropical Leaf set. Why not have pink leaves? I think they are fun (and quite Barbie-like!)

The Tropical Leaf set is a two-step stamping one, meaning there’s one image for the detail of the leaves and one for the “fill” or color of the leaves. For this sample, I just used the detail of the leaves and watercolored over it to create the color.
I love watercoloring because one can mix colors and create a lot of texture and shading all in one go.
