Beautiful Balloons Fun Birthday Shaker Card!

This month the All Star Design Team is featuring the Bright & Beautiful Suite, a fun collection of bright, birthday and celebration images. Today, I want to share an interactive shaker card. Everyone loves a shaker card!

For my shaker card project today, I’m using the Beautiful Balloons Bundle (just the stamps and dies).

For this version, I’ve used three bright greens (Parakeet Party, Lemon Lime Twist, and Granny Apple Green). Use the largest balloon die to create a window on the top panel for the shaker portion.

I’ve found those Iridescent Shaker Circles tone in quite well with most of our colors.

I made quite a few color variations, this one using Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia, and Gorgeous Grape.

For the background, use the Basic Borders dies to create a simple mask. Next, blend a bit of Pool Party with a Blending Brush to create a light cloud background.

I made a could opening on the inside of the card for a bit of fun. Use a Circle Punch to create a small notch, which shows a bit more of the Brights DSP from the layer underneath. This helps invite the recipient to open the next layer.
