3 Tips for Pre-printed Die Cut Sheets – Wildflower Birthday Scrapbooking Layout
Today’s share is a layout I taught in my February round of scrapbooking classes, and was also featured in the Stampin’ Fancy Friday showcase during May. I’ve used the pretty Wildflower Birthday papers, ones with soft colors and a lot of gold foiling for that extra special effect!

The Wildflower Birthday paper pack also includes a couple sheets of pre-printed die cuts, making those floral embellishments a snap. Some people love the convenience of the pre-printed papers and embellishments, some prefer to make it from scratch, and some like it either option.

Here are a few ways you can “liven up” those flat images (if you wish to):
- Crinkle them up or just shape them with a bone folder to give them a little more interest.
- Double layer at least parts of them, like I did here with the peach flower.
- Add gems, ribbon, or Wink of Stella to add more texture and contrast.

I made the entire color palette of the layout based on this bouquet. I think this might be the first time I’ve used Blueberry Bushel . . . it’s actually quite nice! It’s a nice denim color and pairs well with Pretty in Pink and Peach Pie.

All the little flowers and elements pull the color combination together. I decided I quite liked that splash of deeper blue to balance out all the pink in the papers and photos.
