Should I Join Your Stampin’ Up! Team?
8 Common Questions Answered
Whether you’re curious about becoming a demonstrator or just want to score a discount on your own crafting stash, you’re not alone—this is something I get asked all the time!
You don’t have to go all in to give it a go. Many of my team members simply enjoy the discount and community, while others like to run a class here and there. In fact, I often encourage new team members to just try teaching one class per quarter—just to test the waters.
Still unsure? Let’s tackle a few of the questions that come up most often:

1. Do I have to run a big business if I join?
Not at all. Some team members just order for themselves and enjoy the perks. Others run casual classes when it suits. One class per quarter is a great way to dip your toes in—no pressure, no giant commitment, but potentially very rewarding.
2. What if I’ve never taught a class before?
Totally fine. I am more than happy to help, either in person, where practical, or with suggestions. We also hold Zoom calls where you can ask questions and brainstorm with others. You’re never left figuring it all out alone.
3. How much does it cost to join?
Just $189, and you choose up to $361 in products to get started during the month of May. That’s $76 extra in free product!
4. What kind of support do you offer?
I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for nearly 20 years and I’m very active in helping my team. You’ll have access to:
- In-person crafting gatherings
- Card swaps
- Retreats
- Zoom discussion calls
- Teaching opportunities
- A team community that’s genuinely encouraging and fun
…plus training resources, group chats, and step-by-step help if you want it.
5. Is there a sales quota?
Just a quarterly minimum (not monthly), and it’s very achievable. Most people meet it by combining their own purchases with a small class or event. I can help you make a simple plan if you want help.
6. What happens if I want to stop?
You simply stop ordering, and your account will close naturally. No fees, no awkward conversations. You’re also welcome back later if you change your mind.
7. Do I have to sell to friends and family?
Only if you want to! Some demonstrators build their businesses with classes or social media instead. You get to choose what feels right for you—and we’ll help you get started in a way that feels natural.
8. What’s the best part of joining your team?
The community. I know that sounds cheesy, but it’s true. We create, laugh, learn, and support each other. Whether you’re here for the discount, the business, or the friendships—we’ve got space for you.
