Happy Thursday! Today’s share is another version of the Window Fold Fun Fold card I shared earlier this week, this time featuring the Snowy Scenes papers. I think these papers are so cute!
This project idea uses the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch to create the window effect.
I used the snowflake patterns for the background, but I cut it into strips to make it more interesting, and to break up the pattern a bit.
It’s a very subtle detail, but I used the new two-toned Pool Party paper on the inside, using the lighter shade at the top, and the darker shade below the snow globe. I also embossed the paper with the Snowflake Sky folder, then sanded to bring out the white center. It’s a great effect, especially with a snowflake folder!
I cut the snow globe right out of the Snowy Scenes paper pack, then used one of the partial globes along the edge of the paper to cut out another little penguin and trees for a 3-D effect. A little fussy, but I like the added dimension.
I also added some Fine Tip Glue Pen details for extra shine.
