Today’s share is a make and take I designed for a recent team day we had, with our very special visitor, Sara Douglass. We had so much fun on the day, including a bit of crafting! I wanted to share a project with my Creative Inkers team with some of the brand new products, and selected the A Little Latte Suite:
First I made this “warm” version with Lemon Lolly and Calypso Coral tones. I quite like this. I recently made a scrapbooking layout in similar colors, which aren’t colors I would typically put together. It’s growing on me!
Personally, I’m not a coffee drinker, but I still find this french press and the miniature tea cups just so adorable and fun! Great little set to send a warm hello and miss you to a friend or family member.
In the short video below, I made this Lost Lagoon version, which is also quite nice, and possibly more suited for all genders.
The background is the technique bit, and it was fun to make a messy, spilled coffee sort of effect. I found the Pecan Pie ink pad is just the right color to stamp the cup ring and splatter images on the background. I’m actually looking at some right now on the table in front of me.
When someone needs a pick me up, a reminder that you care, or to share a cuppa with a friend from a distance, the A Latte Love images and dies are just so adorable. The detail is great, right down to the die for the drink on the tea cup.
