I’m writing to you from a FUN team retreat! I so much enjoy spending time with my team of demonstrators – join us next time!
Today’s share is my submission for the Global Video Hop for February 2022. Our theme this time was “stylish cards”, up to interpretation. So I’ve chosen both a slimline card and one using all neutrals for a sepia, monochromatic look with the new Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends:
The background was inspired by Melody Hyde and her use of the Wildflower Path stamp set as horizontal vines. I love this look!
I took it up one step and used the thumping technique to create the two-toned look to the vines. I’ll show you how to do this easy and unique look in the video below.
I love those tiny dots around the Wildflower Path vines; it just really adds a lot of interest!
Each of the flowers is colored with a pair of the Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends, for a cascading ombre effect. I also colored in the pearls so they coordinated perfectly.

Your card is very pretty, love how you’ve coloured the flowers with the varying shades. Also found your 10 colour video very interesting.
