Today’s share is one that I really had a lot of FUN making! I think pretty much everyone likes an interactive card (a card with moving parts), but not everyone loves tricky measurements and assembly. I think you’ll love how easy this one is:
Our cute van moves along the “road” to reveal an extra message:
I have fallen in love with the Driving By stamp set, a very cute set of images with little vans and cars. I love how these can be colored up to suit the age of the recipient. For the above sample, I paper pieced the van with the Sunshine and Rainbows paper pack, a good one to use because the prints are small.
The car with the gifts on top in the Driving By set is a good one for a birthday card, AND showcases that the pull can come from either side of the card. Perhaps this one is extra perfect for a left-handed person!
The clouds are also from the Sunshine and Rainbows paper pack, and punch out with the coordinating Cloud Punch. I think it’s quite unique to have a white sky and blue clouds!
You can get the Driving By stamp set FREE with a $110 NZD order with me through 16 March, or while stocks last. I think this is one you’ll use over and over again for the guys, the kids, and the person who has a car just like that. LOL
Please enjoy this short video below showing you how to put this quick slider card together. Please share this video with your friends or your crafting groups; I appreciate it! And please subscribe to my channel for more tips and project ideas!
