Today’s card is a re-make of a Christmas card I created two years ago, this time using the Whimsical Trees bundle and the Whimsy and Wonder Designer Series paper. I love using trees and non-traditional colors for Christmas, and the iridescent Blushing Bride snowflake print is fresh and something different.
This project is so effective, yet easy to do. I’ll show you the couple of simple steps in the video below.
All you need is the Christmas Tree Dies and the gorgeous Whimsy & Wonder background paper for this effect.
I love the little bit of shimmer showing through the trees, built right into the fun Whimsy & Wonder paper.
I do love white heat embossing my sentiments. I strongly suggest everyone has Versamark, White Embossing Powder, and a Heat Tool in their basic tools. Being able to stamp white on colored cardstock really opens up your creative possibilities not only with labels, but with your images, too.

If you’d like to do a few projects with this suite (plus three other projects), I have 6 class kits left for my Christmas Extravaganza Online! I’m happy to send kits outside of New Zealand, but please add $13 (about $8 USD) NZD postage.
And please enjoy this short video showing you a few fun ideas with the Whimsy & Wonder Suite, my personal favorite collection from the June-Dec Mini Catalogue. Don’t forget to subscribe for more tips and project videos!
