One of the many fun benefits to the Stampin’ Up! Grand Vacation trips is the opportunity to swap with other demonstrators around the world. I participated in three different swaps, and today’s share is one of them:
Although it’s not obvious from the photo, this is actually a notebook. One of my favorite projects is to alter notebooks! (Those who come to my classes know we do one at least once a year!). I use notebooks and I love to take something rather ordinary and make it extra special.
Here I’ve used the Coffee Cafe bundle to create a fun, warm cup of hot chocolate (or whatever!) during this winter cold here in New Zealand.
For the background, I stamped and clear embossed using the new Tree Rings background stamp. I really like this one . . . it looks more like fingerprints to me than anything, but I think it’s fun and whimsical. I then inked a tiny bit of colour in Soft Sky.
Make a coordinating pen and it’s a cute little gift set for yourself!
All the images and shapes are in the Coffee Cafe die set except the heart came from the Sweet & Sassy Framelits.
