Hi friends! It’s Tuesday already! I had such a busy (fun!) weekend, and yesterday I spent the day catching up on some sleep and putting my craft space back together. We did so many awesome projects, and today I’m sharing just one of them (inspired by the talented Martha Inchley):
Using the awesome new Eastern Palace dies and stamp set (bundle offer for May only!!!), we cut a medallion cut out on the card front. This creates a stained-glass effect.
Every medallion turned out a little differently – this set comes with so many little images, all perfect for layering and placing around the cut outs. The main thing I learned by doing and watching is to TAKE YOUR TIME when stamping. Taking that extra moment for correct placement makes all the difference.
The colours used here are Lemon LIme Twist, Tranquil Tide, Pool Party, and Fresh Fig (above). And bonus! These three new colours, which aren’t available for general ordering until 1 June, ARE included in the Eastern Palace Bundle! Yay!
All these products will be available after 1 June still, BUT they won’t be in the value-added bundle any longer, so if this is on your wish list, you are best to order it in May to get the most value for money. (Plus any orders in May get free lifetime access to my Monochromatic Cards class!)
The possibilities are absolutely endless with these dies and images. I’ve only used two of the dies here out of an 14 die set!
You CAN also order this bundle as part of your starter kit to open an account as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (you pick $285 in product for $189). Please read HERE for more details.
We will also be doing these cards this Wednesday evening in Titirangi and this Thursday evening in Otahuhu. Please join us!
Thanks for stopping by,
