While I adore the bundles and suites of Stampin’ Up! products that all work seamlessly together, I also really enjoy using a stamp set that stands alone. It’s an opportunity to go back to stamps, ink, and paper and let the images be the star of the show.
The Welcoming Woods stamp set is a Distinktive set, meaning the images are incredibly detailed just when simply inking and stamping!
For this sample, I used the Black Ice technique again. I just love how this looks on the Brushed Metallic Foil. Even simple stamping looks great, particularly with the Distinktive images like Welcoming Woods.
The Black Ice Technique is actually quite easy, but really adds an element of texture and interest to an otherwise simple stamping image. I love how the clear embossing powder sort of bubbles and pools to create a frosty sort of texture.
