Today’s share was a favorite during my recent Facebook Live all about the eclipse technique, and this project features both the Watercolor World background stamp and the She’s the Greatest stamp set. It’s a perfect combination for a birthday card or upcoming Mother’s Day!

I had a few tries to get the color just right, and ended up with inking the Watercolor World stamp in both Pretty in Pink and Blackberry Bliss. Blackberry Bliss is quite dark, but when applied with a Sponge Dauber, it comes out this pink-purple color. It pairs nicely with Pretty in Pink.

For the MOM, I die cut right out of the stamped panel with the Alphabet a la Mode dies. Next, I cut the letters a few more times out of white cardstock, then stacked them all up for this elevated word.
It’s a great effect, and you could, of course, change the word and colors to suit the recipient. I think I need to make one of these for my brother.
