Turtle Friends Birthday Card with Video Tutorial
Hello, my fellow cardmaking enthusiasts! Today’s share is a fun children’s card featuring our happy Turtle Friends punch and stamp set:

I clearly like the current Color Inkspiration challenge so much, that I accidentally made two samples for this one. (See the other card in these colors) Join in the Facebook group and add your project using these colours:

I just adore this little guy! (or girl!) You just can’t help but smile when you see him. I’ve used that wonderful Shimmery Crystal Effects on the shell to get that fantastic depth and shine – well worth it to add to your next order!
The background is that great Stitched Greenery “die”. It’s technically a die because it cuts the stitching, but it doesn’t actually cut out an outline shape, if that makes sense. It adds the stitched detail to whatever shape your card already is.

I found it a little hard to add vanilla to the project, so similar to my last entry, I just used a bit of vanilla twine against the white background. I wouldn’t have normally done that, but I think it’s a nice, subtle contrast. I love color challenges for that exact reason – one has to think beyond our comfort zones.
