Today’s share is another project showcasing different ways to use the Water Painters. I’ve used the Winterly Tree Tops stamps and dies, along with the Nests of Winter papers for this sample.
One technique I use quite often is the watercolor wash, the light, smooth wash of color behind the image. I just love it.
I also added a bit of splattering, something many people find intimidating or too imprecise. You can always leave that part off, but I do show you in the video below how to do it with just one flick of the Water Painter.
I also watercolored in the birds. These might not be exactly correct; I just painted them to work in with the project. I liked the addition of the Petunia Pop berries, instead of traditional red berries.
