I am now "getting it". I have this tremendous urge to spend lock my door and scrapbook! I really love it. Next year will bring more pages to my classes, more on offer, and more on this site. How about a scrapbooking day? Show of hands?
This page is an easy layout and actually the first layout I have attempted that uses more than one photo, as my dear Ria pointed out to me. I have a preference for layouts with a strong focal point . . . that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
The layout was inspired by My Time. Her great layout can be seen here.
The Designer Series Papers are Summer Picnic, available through the end of November. I just love the bright colours in this series. This is also the papers used on the spinner card below. The die cut blooms are a coordinating accessory for these papers and lots of fun, especially since they are on textured card and super big! My friend Jan G made a particularly BIG and BOLD page using this same layout. I forgot to get a shot of hers before she took off – send us one, Jan?
Stamps used here are from It's a Beautiful Thing and Enjoy Every Moment, both from the Spring mini catalogue. Journaling to coordinate with your project is another great use of those markers on promotion this month!
Oh, and yes, I also made three of the girls in the photos. The fourth one is a close friend of our family, Ayla.
