Today’s share is a little sneak peek of the fabulous SaleABration gifts coming 4 January – 28 February. My project today features the Thanks a Bunch stamp set, a free level 1 gift (Free with a $110 purchase here in New Zealand, as of 4 January):
You might be wondering what you’d do with carrot images . . . I wondered the same thing. But once I started inking and stamping, I found these to be quite fun.
For this project, I was inspired by a digital image of an array of various heirloom carrots, and thought that would make such a wonderful diversity or encouragement card. These images are also great for someone who loves to garden or who lives on a farm.
This is optional, of course, but I did the extra step of stamping the detail both in color, and then again with Versamark and then clear embossed. This really adds a lot of interest and texture, especially when the rest of the card is fairly clean.
And here is a slightly different version, with just a couple of fewer steps. I used a label in the first version to cover an area I wasn’t happy with, so that’s always an option.
The Thanks a Bunch stamp set is available between 4 January and 28 February and is FREE with a qualifying purchase! ($110 NZD in New Zealand) There are several gifts from which to choose; the Thanks a Bunch stamp set is one of the options.
