This cute project was inspired by my friend and downline, June Abbott, a demonstrator in Ashburton. This is what she sent me:
Adorable, isn't it?
And then I was asked to present a fun fold kids card at a class, and I thought the ice cream cone was perfect for a Swing (or Flip Flop) card!
I love having "more than the obvious" use for our fantastic punches, too. The Square Lattice Embossing Folder is just perfect for a waffle cone ~
On the other side of the Swing Card we did the traditional cupcake, but jazzed it up with a load of glitter. Hey – even boys like a bit of glitter don't they?
The background of this card is stamped with the Confetti Stamp Set, a useful little set that is easy to overlook. That other Old Olive bit on the background . . . . well that was an accident during class. A mark of enthusiasm, yes Michelle?
The Swing card uses very little cardstock and the style doesn't lend itself to much embellishment, so it's an easy one to produce en masse for invitations and the like.
Book into a class to learn how to make this one! You can also see my schedule on my Facebook Business Page!
