These are not my “usual” colours to put together, but I do quite like the Curry and the Soft Sky combination. This layout is based on another one I saw on Pinterest, and I just recreated the format using Stampin’ Up! product.
The “tiles” on the background are done using the Sweater Weather series and took a little bit of time, but I made up a map for my Nelson Class on Saturday, so they completed it without any trouble at all. This is a super way to use up those bits and pieces of paper or if you have just a little bit of a favorite!
Our title here is made up of the new Expressions Thinlits dies (love these!) and a nice, rich Chocolate Chip stamp from the set Hello, Lovely. And our heart here is dipped in the Orange Stampin’ Glitter.
Our little medallions were also from Hello, Lovely and made a nice little embellishment made out of scraps. Don’t these girls look happy? This is my three daughters on a fun photo shoot out in the yard with our exchange student, Pascale.
And these are a couple of the ladies from Saturday in Nelson hard at work, puzzling out the project. They did great! We did a massive four layouts in about 6 hours, so they were hard at work all day. We all slept well that night!
Join me for a layout class, a card class, or let me come to you and teach your friends!
