Welcome to the New Zealand landing station on another global blog hop with the Hawaiian Grand Vacation Achievers! This time our theme was “Something Old, Something New” – combine a new product with an existing one.
The Wild About Flowers set is one that I had on my wish list from the first flick through the new catalogue, and it was the first of the shipment to see ink:
When left to my own devices to design something, I tend to go for a “clean” look, but I do enjoy adding just a smidge of vintage-ness with the curled edges and the one sprinkle of splatter. That was fun to write.
Love the new Silver Thread, shown here just peeping out.
The Wild About Flowers is a two-step stamping set, meaning the stems and the blooms are separate images, so you can easily stamp them in different colours. Easy and gorgeous.
Aaaaand you’ll be seeing a lot of this Brick Embossing Folder. I can see this one is just going to work with anything and everything!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your journey!

This card is stunning in its simplicity Jacque. I too find it hard to go past a touch of vintage and your addition is just perfect.

Jacque this is such a lovely card! The combination of pure colours and white is so appealing. I adore the brick wall background but am always inclined to dirty it up; after this card I am refraining! Thank you so much for the inspiration! Love it!

Jacque, I didn’t “have to have” the brick embossing folder or this stamp set until I saw this card. But after seeing this, I don’t think I can go without – this is STUNNING!!!
