Today’s share is a wonderfully fun and simple idea taken from a Clean and Simple Cardmaking group I enjoy. They were mostly using images digitally generated, so I’ve taken the idea and adapted with Stampin’ Up! products:
For this sample, I’ve used the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper. I thought the small, cute houses were just fun for this technique!
The Rings of Love paper is a SaleABration gift, so these are available only in July and August.
You can keep this design as simple as you like, or add more elements and layers. I quite like the simplicity here.
However, I did add Linen Thread around the little roll of paper and just a small amount of inking with Crumb Cake around the edges for depth.
Click here for a complete supply list for saving, printing, or convenient shopping! I’ve listed the Storybook papers on the supply list, as they work well, too.
If you’d like to see a quick demonstration of how to make this card plus a few more samples, please enjoy this short video. (replay from a Facebook Live given several weeks ago)
