This is a remake of a project I taught three years ago – and taken from Atomic Butterfly (Splitcoast stampers), one of the many many talented artists . .. . my favourite one actually.
I love the non traditional colours on this one as well as the frosty look the acetate gives. It's hard to see in the photos, but the base card is stamped pink on pink as well.
The main snowflake is done with Heat and Stick – a very cool product that makes use of our very fine coloured glitters. Love it! Can't have a snowflake card without glitter . . .
Stamping on acetate is easy, but you must use Staz-On ink. The white ink is used here both for the snowflakes and for the edging.
I know it's still technically August, but yes, it's time to start thinking about Christmas cards!
