Happy Labour Weekend! Although it’s Spring, I’m cozied up by the fire with the cat tonight. I want to share with you a few samples I made earlier this season for some demonstrator training events using the Ready for Christmas Bundle. These cards were meant to be quick, easy to do, and something just to try out the new products:
One of the neat things about the Christmas Staircase (part of the Ready for Christmas bundle) dies is it comes with multiples of the same die. It was quick to cut out these branches when I have several of the dies!
I’ve simple created a wreath here, simple stamping at the bottom, and a big bow with the Year of Cheer Embellishments. Crumb Cake, Black and, Old Olive are just a classic “always a winner” combination.
This one is a full sized card, now using that awesome staircase die. I’ve placed the same boughs used in the first card here, now wrapping the Mini Sequin Trim throughout to mimic garland.
There are just so many fun possibilities with this one.
And this one is very quick to do, but effective and fresh. Simply mat two pieces of the Merry Music Designer Series Paper, add Jute Twice, and add a sentiment of your choice on a stitched shape.
