Today’s share is the project I made on my Facebook Live last week, featuring the Frosted Forest Bundle. I shared quite a few sample cards, and made this one as a demonstration. I loved how quickly this one goes together!
I just adore the stamped images and the dies in this set, but for this sample, I’ve used just the masks. The masks come in a set of six, three for the oak type of tree, and three for the two pine trees in the card above.
I think what I love about the mask idea is that everyone can follow the marked placements and come out with something really great looking.
For this version, I used Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock ink. For the final layer (third mask), I used the Shimmery Embossing Paste, which adds such a nice sparkle.
It doesn’t snow where I live, and it certainly is not cold at Christmas time, so I like this bit of sparkle without looking overly snowy.
Next, I tried this same card idea with Old Olive and Mossy Meadow. I think I still had some of the more blue-greens on the mask, so really, it’s a mix of the colors. And I don’t mind that at all.
