Pop Out Panel Card with Sweet Bugs

Today’s project features the adorable Cute as a Bug Suite on a Pop Out Panel fun fold. It’s easier than it looks – all you need are two pieces of cardstock to make this unique fun fold base. Free PDF with measurements below:

It’s extremely hot here at the moment, and my craft room is not exactly temperature controlled, so I wanted to make this card relatively quickly. And fabulous – the dies cut these images right out of the Cute as A Bug papers!

I selected the few I wanted to use, cut out, and added to this circle from the Spotlight on Nature dies (great set of detailed circles to mix in with your other sets).

Possibly the best thing about Stampin’ Up! is their incredibly thorough commitment to coordination. It’s so great to have a pack of papers where all the designs work together; it certainly makes putting a good-looking project together much easier than we I first started papercrafting 30+ years ago.

The Cute as a Bug papers are no exception. Between the coordinating prints and the pre-printed characters, this project came together in about 20 minutes.

The main image panel pops out when the card is opened, making it quite fun and interactive, but also a lovely project for the recipient to have on display.
