Parisian Blossoms Layout – All Stars Team Blog Hop

It’s my pleasure to kick off another great month with the All Stars team! We are featuring the Parisian Blossoms Suite this both, both in our blog hop and also in our 12 tutorials! Welcome to my blog – you’ve landed in Auckland, New Zealand with Jacque Williams.

This month I wanted to go out of the card realm and share with you a single page scrapbooking layout, inspired both by a sketch challenge on the Scrapbooking Global – Stampin’ Up! Facebook group and the card I made for this month’s tutorial bundle (see below).

Even if you are not already a scrapbooker, this layout is not hard to achieve; I encourage you to give it a try! If not for yourself, a page with special photos makes a most treasured gift for someone.

The Cherry Blossom dies are so beautiful with their subtle detail! I cut the branch in Basic Gray and actually snipped it in half to create more of a long branch rather than a half circle-shaped one.

I inked the edges to carry on the vintage style and just added a few gray pearls. I don’t think I could create without pearls and rhinestones . . .

This is probably my favourite part of this layouts . . . the Parisian Flourish folder is just so gorgeous and so my style. I have used a small amount of Smoky Slate ink on here so in real life, it looks very antique, like an old, loved porcelain plate.

These photos are in my kitchen, not in Paris, but I feel the Eiffel Tower is a universal symbol of romance. It works well in these wedding photos. Try it for an anniversary, travel, or any other project celebrating a special relationship!
