Thursday night and the weather is cold and rainy here in Auckland! Nice night to be tucked up inside.
Today’s share is a card idea I found on Pinterest last year, and it’s such a winner! I am using the Paisleys & Posies stamp set here with a variety of colours. I love projects that look so great with simplicity (actually I love all great-looking projects!):
Start by stamping your various paisley images from the Paisleys & Posies stamp set. Choose any colour combination that appeals, but here I’ve used Mint Macaron, Island Indigo, Always Artichoke, and Cherry Cobbler. (You can browse all 50 colours of ink pads HERE).
The placement isn’t exact – just decide on the sort of shape you want to create and start with the largest image first and work down to the smallest image. Finish off with some Enamel Dots and/or Rhinestones.
As for the words, you can use any of your die cuts and coordinating stamps. Crazy for You is a fantastic option (sadly retiring at the end of May!) and so is Sunshine Sayings (this one is staying for another year).
Basically we are stamping a flat background and then making one simple die cut the focal point.
I’ve matted this up a few times to add a bit more interest, too. This also makes for a nice, sturdy greeting card.
And tassels are quite trendy at the moment; you and I will be seeing a lot more of tassels! They sure do add an element of posh to a project.
Give this one a go! If you don’t already have a demonstrator and live in New Zealand, I’d be happy to get you the products you need. Alternatively, you can browse online:
Thanks for stopping by! I sure do appreciate your support, your enthusiasm, and your friendship!
