Today’s card is one I made on my Facebook Live last week, and I just love how it turned out! I wanted to use the Painted Trees Embossing Folder for some quick and beautiful Christmas cards, and for this project, I kept the folder as the main focal point:
In the video below, I put quite a few layers and details on the trees, but you could also keep it very quick and simple by just embossing and adding the ribbon and words. Or you could add just a bit of Versamark to the Painted Trees Embossing Folder to add that little bit more depth to the image. (Doing this makes the recessed areas a little bit darker and the trees a appear a little bit lighter).
I also added a bit of shimmer spray, made with a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and the White Pearlized Enamel Effects. I love this look!
I also tried this project with Fresh Freesia and Blackberry Bliss, also a favorite colour combination. I just love a purple Christmas card.
And last, I made a Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock version, with the Pretty Peacock Glitter paper for the word for extra sparkle.
