It’s been a while since I posted a scrapbooking layout, and today’s share is one using the new Painted with Love Designer Series Paper. These papers are super rich and lush, so I came up with a few ways to tone them down a bit for a layout where the photo is the star:
I’ve laid a piece of vellum over part of the layout as a softening mat for the photo. This also gave me an opportunity to slip a journalling tag underneath.
I’ve gotten so much use out of the Pansy Punch over the years; it’s really a good one to have in your collection. Here I’ve layered up three of the flowers and brushed the edges in the Gold Embossing Powder.
The fun “leafy” elements are from the new Petal Palette Bundle. The whole bundle is just gorgeous. These can be cut out in greens, of course, but I thought I’d use them here as more of a framing element in the coordinating colours.
