Today’s project is inspired right out of the Stampin’ Up! catalogue! If you haven’t already, take the time to go through the catalogue and look closely at all the samples rather than the products. There are many great ideas and card designs in there you can copy or use as inspiration.
This week in my Facebook Live, I focused on the Nature’s Harvest suite, one that is sure to please if you love the natural and earthy tones.
The Emboss Resist technique is a classic. Usually I’d use it for a focal point (like in this project), but in today’s project, it’s a soft background to support the colored spray of daisies.
One of my favorites in the mini catalogue is that cork paper. It does have a little bit of actual texture, but it’s still paper thin and easy to cut, punch, and die cut. Ink doesn’t dry on it well, but heat embossing works perfectly.

So many great elements to this card Jacque! Love the heat embossing on the cork and the lightly sanded edges on the papers.
