This is a very neat project shown to demonstrators by Linda at convention. I can't remember her last name, but a very lovely and warm lady!
The concept here is very simple – use your Designer Series Papers to make a perfect gift bag by just wrapping it around a box! Slip the box out and voila! a bag ready for some stamping.
I thought the idea of the card on the front was also very clever. Seal an envelope, slit one end open and adhere that to the front of your bag for a quick & easy pocket to insert a tag or card. Stampin' Up!'s envelopes have the same super-smooth finish on them as the Whisper White and Very Vanilla stamping card to give your stamped imaged a clean, crisp finish.
My friend Pauline had a brainstorm in a class one day to punch out flower to cover up little boo-boo's. I did a really crazy thing to this bag and was so frustrated I wasn't about to start over . . . so I took Pauline's advice and made my bag a pretty little band-aid. It's sort of floating out of place, but a sight better than what lies underneath!
The paper used here is Fall Flowers. The second sample is done up with Apple Cider papers – those that are being deleted as of Sunday. This photo is a bag that was made up by my dear friend, Mirriel. If you'd like these, get them today!
