My assignment today was to create a baby card using some of our new products, and I decided to combine it with the colour challenge for a non-traditional finish.
The products used here are the Nursery Letters jumbo wheel and the two sizes of star punches. I based the card on Jan Tink's neat design, although I removed a few elements to make this project a bit more manageable for a class.
The wheeling is done on Pretty in Pink for a more subdued look. I really do like the star images, both the punches and the stamps. I think I will make a star chain on my next layout . . stay tuned because now I've committed myself!
I really could not decide between the two ribbons – in fact I dithered over this entire project for way too long . . . so I just decided to post both and call them girl and boy. Which do you prefer? (the ribbons, not girls vs boys, please 🙂

This is super cute. Great job with the color challenge.
Nice job as always Jacque! If I said I was new to crafting and needed the instructions to case this, would you believe me??
Not a chance, Rachael! 🙂
Hi Jacque,
Cute cards – I think I like the caramel (?) ribbon better.
There’s an award for you waiting on my blog :o)
This is simply adorable!
This is a very pretty card. I love the star on the scallop circle. Well done.
