I Think You’re Great is one of the new stamp sets in the 2015-16 Stampin’ Up! Catalogue – and one with so much potential! I’m sharing with you today one of the cute make and takes we did at the Stampin’ Up! Convention in Gold Coast last month:
The stamp itself is a square shape, but by inking up the image with sponge daubers, it’s easy to create a different shape plus a short of vintage, faded look. I like the simplicity of this design.
Need to Knows:
1. Ink up a sponge dauber with Cucumber Crush and ink up the centre of the image, directly on the stamp
2. Ink up a sponge dauber with Mint Macron and ink a circle shape, directly on the stamp, blending into the Cucumber Crush
3. Stamp the “I Think You’re Great” image onto a scrap and scissor cut out the “You’re” and “Great” separately.
I’ve made up quite a few of these – it’s a nice project and quick to do!
