This project is a take-off of a gorgeous Christmas card I cased off the net two years ago, which just goes to show that you can take any project, change the colours, change the images, rotate the layout and come up with something new!
I just love how this turned out – the rich colours here really appeal to me. The stamp set here is Eastern Blooms, which is fast becoming my "go to" stamp set and the papers are Ginger Blossom, both of which can be ordered through me until March 31st.
This card features the embossing technique and also the Whisper White stamp pad. You can see the difference pretty easily – the focal image is embossed and the corner image is stamped without embossing. And the hodgepodge hardware here in Antique Copper adds a nice colour depth for a finish. (Plus, use them up so you can make tin like the one below!)
Very nice and they work well together, this design would also look good as a 12×12 page
Hi Jacque this is a lovely card
I have an award for you on my blog http://stampinggalore.blogspot.com
The Ginger Blossom papers are fast becoming my favourite and this card is one of the reasons why. Love it
