When I have something to design or some new stamps to play with, it’s nice to try a challenge just for fun and motivation. Today I used the Freshly Made Sketches sketch as inspiration:
This one was a bit tricky, and I ended up taking a little creative license with it.
I wanted to go square this time with the elements of the sketch being asymmetrial.
All of these sentiments and images are from the So Very Grateful stamp set, a new one in the Ocassions Catalogue. I have black heat embossed this, so it really stands out on the white card in real life.
I haven’t done coloring in for ages! I’ve used blender pens and the ink pads here. Especially with the raised heat embossed outline, this was super easy.
And last, I whipped up a custom-sized, matching envelope using our Envelope Punch Board – fast becoming a “most-used tool”.
Here is Custard the Cat helping me out as the above design was being born. It is lovely to have her company while she keeps the DSP under control.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: So Very Grateful 133053
Colours: Real Red, Pool Party, Old Olive
Other: Sweet Sorbet Twine (SaleABration), Basic Rhinestones, Blender Pens, Banner Punch (SaleABration)

Your flowers are gorgeous…..the coloring is exquisite! Looks like Custard wasn’t too interested in the creative process :). Thanks for joining us at FMS!

Beautiful card Jacque! Those flowers are amazing! Their colours are so vibrant against the white background! Great take on the sketch! Your cat is hilarious! So beautiful!!! A cat wouldn’t find anywhere to sleep in my craft room – too disastrous!!! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
